so is it gay to like that show if your strait, what do you think?

The original UK version was one of the best shows I had seen in a long time. I only saw one season of the US version and haven't seen it run on UK tv since. Was a bit furstating because of how some of the characters were changed.

having to be gay to watch queer as folk is like saying you need to be an all star football player to watch the super bowl

QAF rocks the house, amazing show and very cool.......

and my wife loves it.

momos are pretty entertaining so no.

I have watched QAF US since it premiered. It's over-the-top soap opera fun in the sort of way Dynasty was.

I haven't enjoyed this season as much as the others because it is a short season (14 episodes) and they have tried to cram too much story line in, which made some things go too fast and other things seem incomplete. Another thing is that they have had several characters suddenly go completely way out of character which several times left me going, "Huh? They would never say/do that!" The way they led up to the death of a character was so bizarre it was almost like watching the same actors play different parts.

Anyone who has refused to watch the show because it's "gay" has missed out on one of the funniest shows in years. This series is perfectly cast, Peter Paige and Sharon Gless alone are worth watching for.

I just got the first 3 seasons on DVD.

Who watches Queer eye for the straight guy?

I have only started watching it in the last 2 years...they filmed the season finale at my restaurant that I was working in last year so I got to meet everyone and they were cool...

My b/f is Robert Gant's personal trainer so I'm a big fan of his..:winkwink: altho, he's REALLY high maintenance..lol

I love Queer As Folk (the UK version), it's just fucking fantastic.

I've never seen the US version though I heard it wasn't as good...

Havent seen it I guess I will have to check it out.

the irish guy that played the lead character in the UK one just totally owned the character..I can't watch the American actor without thinking he is a pale comparission.

What a couple of eps, i'm somewhat amused.

I agree with you that only 14 episodes makes it a VERY short season. Not sure why they did that unless it's a cost cutting effort.

But I have to disagree with you about the change in direction the series has taken and the change in the actors.

I think after 3 years, the "novelty" of naked men and man on man sex lost a bit of it's appeal (though eye candy is always appreciated). But I LOVE this season in that they've made "life" on the series a bit more realistic and finally have made some of the characters truly have to be more than one dimensional.

I think Brian's character in particular has really put in some great scenes that has blown me away! (and the death of one of the main characters made me angrier than hell..but I got over it. grin)

P.S. And have you noticed how much weight "Debbie" has lost since last year! Why to go Sharon!

The thing that I REALLY like about the UK version, is that most of the women are just completely smoking hot brunettes. Hazel, Romey and her girlfriend, Stuart's sister, the girl that likes Vince in the supermarket... need I go on...

I don't like that black girl from the school though, she gets on my fucking nerves.

I admit I watch it, its a pretty well written show.

i think she was suppose to be annoying. I saw the guy that played the kid in some bad tv show recently.
