Are you just impressed with what they paid or do you think they will actually run it better?

Yeah, but there is a ton of red tape, it might not happen because it would basically make MGM/Mirage own Vegas.

I am Impressed by the 7.1............ as for running it better, I dont know about that:2 cents: Even with the takeover they are only the third largest casino owners in the states

i stayed at the Mandalay Bay, nice place

Terry Lanni, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MGM Mirage, said the acquisition would "create the world's leading gaming and leisure company with an unmatched portfolio of resorts."

In addition to its 13 U.S. properties, MGM Mirage has 25 percent of a casino in Bristol, UK, and has entered into an agreement to sell its MGM Grand casino in Darwin, Australia.

I made a killing on Mandaly Bay stock.. not sure if I should keep it or sell it now.
