damn cable company
 

just uploading and recently they had raised the upload speeds for my line.. just testing now and seems like its capped at 90k upload..GRRR i hate false claims.. time to call the cable company..

90k is good, I'm capped at 45k :(

most people around here with normal cable internet are capped around 55 or so... but i was informed that my cap has been raised because of the type of service i subscribe to...

90k is ok but when ur paying for more.. its not good :)

damn... i was pissing and moaning about my 256K upload... but i love the 3000K download

So basically - 340KiloBYTES down and 32 KiloBYTES up.


He did it wrong which is confusing, the K should be a small one signifying BITS.
Most cable ISPs offer this now, including Comcast, Adelphia and whoever else.

I am very happy with Comcast in my area. PacBell DSL was horrible.
