How can I capture this streaming file to disk?
 

Files that are true streaming...
like... mms://blah blah

can winamp play that? If so, winamp can save it.

It can but I can seem to save it or burn it...its true streaming content...so I think I need a capture card.

or just about any current Media Player.

Try Camtasia studio, it will record a portion of the screen thats streaming, and make an avi from it. Not sure if thats what u need.
