Google Techniques

Nice link, thanks :thumbsup
|
I've been following this thread for a while now, particularly the examples included such as teoma rules and digital camera. When it was actually published (a few weeks ago), it seemed to work, but only worked on rather high PR sites (yahoo, cnn for example). I don't see this as working on low PR sites or new sites. So what's the point of stuffing a keyword into the url and sending it to cnn or yahoo? The only advantage I could possibly see is trying to use a redirector on Yahoo's domain for example and linking it to your sites, but I think yahoo would catch on real quick to that.

I think Google doesn't fall for it anymore.
I tried it out about 2 months ago and it did indeed skyrocket results. However now last month, my listings fell off completely =) Thus, they may be onto it... |
googgle cwalks round stuff like this
|
thats rather old
and then posting it on boards were people know that google guys of all kind visit those bugs get fixed rather fast |
If enough people started using and abusing this technique, google could easily detect and penalize for it.

I've been using this trick for a bit now on sponsors urls that have ? in their affiliate code.:)
I have been trying to get topbucks to let me seo a couple of their tour pages so I get get them to the top but they are reluctant. At the moment because thier tours are mainly flash its hard to rate better than 20-30. It works well with bangbros. the downside is that when google fix it they can trace your nest.:( |
