Probably just the content you see in the design. This is more like a prebuilt tour, not a complete turnkey site with members area.

I might be wrong, Sharky can correct me if I am. If there is indeed a members area with content...EVEN BETTER DEAL than it already is. :thumbsup

It comes with a license Only for the content used in the design and ads.

The members area still needs to be filled.

Looks ok, not bad, not extremely good. Its just way overpriced imo.

Why would anyone buy a 1k design that is not adjusted to his needs while you can have 2 better designs exactly the way you want for the same price?

Am I wrong, doesnt "TurnKey" mean fully loaded with content, design finished. Just add billing processor? That's what I think turnkey is.

Forgive me if I am wrong but just to mention I believe some of the photos in the design are from Matrix.

Matrix content Liscense is non transferable and if I have heard rumors correct Norm will not hesitate to tear you a new ass for any infraction these days:glugglug

1k gets me 10 fresh paulmarkham sets (or 25 bargainbasements even) a custom design with banners and galleries believe me 1k is not a bargain. If Bluedesign Dickmann or Webinc made it maybe but now no for once Battus is right :)

The photos are used, with permission and license from One Lick. Each of the photos was pulled directly from a OneLick CD.

As for anyone who knows our custom designs, they would not be offered for such a low price. One of my banner designers had some free time, so he built a paysite for one of the domains we set aside for resale -- Hence the cheaper price:-)

If you don't like the deal, you are free to bypass it.

my designer gives me all the psd, for all the work he does for me the content i provide to him so the tour matches the site's content and for 1000$ i can get 2 sites with members area and ads of all type included a dozen gallery templates. not trying to put you down but people should get realistic on their prices.

Thats great for both you and your designer.

Again, if you dont like the site / deal were offering, your free to bypass it

You come to me for a custom site design and you are going to pay well over the $1000 we are asking for this prebuilt site.
We are a real company, with real employees, real office and real overhead. We are not going anywhere. I don't work out of my bedroom or basement. The companies mentioned earlier in this post like Webinc, Blue Design & Dickmans design are all Real Companies who do Real work for Real prices -- just like us. If you want cheap, go to someone else.

i made that 123 row blue webinc and dickmans but youre not gonna compare the designs they make to yours i hope, thats why so many ppl said its overpriced, they offer superb quality for a reasonable price, this site you offer is average for a superb price thats the different just my :2 cents:

If this is not your site, I do apologize to the owner. However, if this is your site, you can't possibly be claiming you get better work for less price. I can build these sites all day for pennies on the dollar as it's not a real design. When you get a real design for next to nothing, then you can bitch about price... Until then, you are just another bandwagon keyboard warrior trying to make a name for himself.

lol.. What do you not understand? This design was done by one of our banner designers when he had free time. It's certainly not our best work, but it's well worth the price tag. Webinc and blue design both have pretty good quality turnkeys -- no doubt. I believe theirs are offered for a slightly higher price - probably because their better designers did the work. If my lead paysite designer did this site, I would require a higher price as well.

Ask any of the 3 previously mentioned design companies to build a site like that for $1000. They will all laugh in your face. It's not going to happen.

I have nothing but nice things to say about Blue Design Studios. They are great guys. They have referred clients my way, and I have referred clients there way. The same with Webinc. We wouldn't refer eachother if we didn't believe in the others work.

I have learned to choose my clients very carefully. I dont' take every job that comes my way. If you are an asshole, chances are you will be an asshole client. There are many people out there who expect the world for pennies, and it's just not going to happen. Chances are, those same people are the pickiest of clients. It's not worth my time or my business to fight for work that is going to cause me to lose money.

I'm not saying that is you, hey - you could be a great guy who just sounds like a prick in this thread.

nope im a nice guy :thumbsup im just as picky as you are some design have to be topnotch thus costs a lot and others can be just about ok, because you dont wanna spend 5k on a single model site if you dont even know if shes gonna model for you in 2 months time

some design you did are cool some are less but thats all in the game so basically im a cool guy :winkwink:

From what I hear from friends who have single model sites, You should shoot at least 6 months to a years worth of content in the first few shoots you do with the model. That way you can recycle content if she decides not to model for you later:)

i knew you would come up with this , yes this is my site and this design i made myself , as you see i'm no designer , that is why i hired someone to do it all over and its gonna be up in a few.


ohh and i don't need to make a name for myself , been in the biz since 98 and my bank account is very well indeed so i couldn't care less where people put me on the scale of "cool old timers" or " stupid noobs"
