alot of the surfers here consider themselves webmasters so this poll really won't prove anything. what makes you a webmaster? having a free hosted avs site, a free hosted free site? this place is full of surfers who say they're webmasters.

I'm a webmaster who thinks he's a surfer.

I pay a lot for my servers, own my own domains, work hard on my sites, submit 7 galleries per day, feed my kids soley from profit earned on the web.. yet I can't stop clicking on the "would you hit it (pic)" threads :(

I had no idea the definition of "webmaster" was such a grey area. Here I thought an adult webmaster managed or ran an adult website.

well wouldn't having one adult free site on free hosting make you an adult webmaster? it's a pretty low standard. or are you and others going to try and establish some standards and guidelines by which people have to qualify themselves?

A LOT of people in this industry are not webmasters.

I have been working online full-time for over 7 years
(mainstream) and built my first adult site in June 1998.

I sold my interest in ZTcash to fund my education. I want to design websites, and be able to write the scripts that go with them. So, I guess you could say that I'm in transition, from webmaster to designer. I had to vote the last one, cause I don't fit into any other catagory.

No, I'm trying to find out who is involved in the adult biz here (not just at the consumer end) and who is not.
