Was Aretha Franklin just Lip Syncing?
 

I may be crazy but it didn't look like her lips were matching up with the music. When they looked goofy, they made a quick cut away and only showed her briefly two more times. Anyone else notice anything?

That did look pretty suspicious.

oh pulease.. that woman has a voice for days.. no reason for her to lip sync.. it could be the the sound during the edit was slightly off.

Her having a "voice for days" is what prompted me to make the most. Had it been Britney Spears, I wouldn't have even thought twice since she is just an image... but Aretha is a true voice. Maybe the sound was off... who knows, but as a musician I tend to spot shit like that quick and this performance looked a little suspect.

hmmmm I wonder if something is wrong with her vocal chords.. that would be a sad day.

I just saw her sing "amazing grace" on Oprah.. she could still belt it out..had everyone in the audience crying:)
