I saved both the files through notepad into a directory called videostore as
well as the storetitle.jpg.
I don't understand what it means to open my ftp. what is an ftp? where is the ftp?
how do i upload index and title?
they are already in the directory named videostore.
when i click on the link it comes up but not with the name it's supposed to.

They're probably ok to own a computer. But...they're not webmaster material that's for sure.

This is exactly why companies have tech support people for all those "webmasters" that are newbies. many companies try to program buttons on their sites that do all the things for the webmasters as it is cheaper than walking them through all the steps to FTP or download content.

Hoorah for all the "webmasters"

Emails like that are pretty standard from AOL users. I dealt with a guy a couple of years ago that was trying to "publish" CGI scripts using FrontPage. I installed the scripts several times but he kept letting FP overwrite his scripts, then proceeded to bitch at me because the scripts wouldn't work after they had been mangled by frontpage.

I had deny from aol.com in the .htaccess of all of my webmaster sites for a long, long time after that incident.

That's just as bad as the guy who was linking images from his computer, and really did expect them to work. He showed us the link, and it was something like C:\\my documents\bill\website\picture.jpg and he kept asking " can anyone see the picture?? It shows up fine for me "

Dumb fuckwad

How about implementing the 'no license- no computer' scenario. Where one can only purchase a PC after undergoing rigorious exams about the computer & its applications?? :1orglaugh
