ok, ok, he was a long time member who made the mistake of cancelling. But he's right back like a boomerang :-)


Email #1:
Subject: Emma, I miss you and your site, could I come back?


I should not have left, and I would like to resubscribe, if you will allow me to come back.

A week later:

Subject: Please talk to me, Emma. I'm begging you.


I know you have every right to be angry with me, and I truly apologize for my words and my actions in leaving.

I offer no explanation for my decisions in the past, but I value you as a lady and friend.

I beg you to forgive me and at least yell at me if you want to. I appreciate all the special things that you have done for me, and I can't repay those kindnesses.

I have rejoined the website, but it's not the same without your love and friendship.

Please let me hear from you. Thank Ryan for me. Thank all your guys, and to whatever end you may still want me to be part of the building of your site, I'd be honored to help.

He's not a loser at all- he's a valued member, and emails like this are not uncommon to us.
We spend a lot of time making our members feel special, and situations like this make us realize just how rare that is.
This particular member not only received regular correspondance; (personal, not form letters) but we had his fav model make a personalized clip for him that wasnt even posted on the site.

did I mention that our retention kicks ass?

I guess anyone who runs any sort of website where content is needed must be a loser as well then? You see, just like a member of a paysite lots of us here go out shopping for content to best suit their own needs..
