Traffic trading

Are there any good resources to read regarding how traffic trades work and should be handled, I want to do a "top 10 sites" list, and trade traffic from there, but no skim.. does that seem reasonable?

Assuming this is for a tgp.... You'd only be 'trading' about 5% of your total clicks. Skim sites can trade around 30-50% of total clicks.

Just to add to this: the productivity on a skimfree TGP is usually much higher, so 5% of total clicks isn't really as bad as it sounds. Both my skimfree sites return an average of about 40-50% to trades.

So are there any good scripts to do this or should I just write one?

and how do you find people wanting trades?

There are plenty of existing trading scripts around (see my sig for one) but if they are missing features you desire then it may be worth writing one yourself. I would learn more about trading with an existing script before doing this though.

How do you find trades? Sometimes the easiest way is just to pick a site, and surf around his trades...

You can also post a message in the trade forum on GFY. This probably will bring you some new trades. you can check also on other boards and at the end of the day you will have near 50 trades. After a couple of hours you will drop several of them and add new ones with better productivity and return ratios, and so on untill you get tired or you decide that you have enough trades for that site and decide to start a new one :)

Satan created sigs in the year of 1128 as a scheme to take over the world...
