My First Anti-Christian Movement In Awhile
 

the christians around here have decided to start displaying american flags with big crosses on them, atop the stop signs on certain corners near me.

close enough to offend me. I am the last person a christian wants to offend within arm reach.

how dare they use public signs for cause to their insanity and christianity.

so as an american, as an atheist i feel it not only my right, but my DUTY, to remove said flags and christian emblems.
they have tainted and disgraced the americvan flag with symbols of their dying nazrene.

friends, forgive me but now i begin plotting on how to accomploish my goal, i will not have the christians upping arms around me.

i will burn these flags before i see that happen.

chriastians needs a reminder every now and then that they arent the only ones living here and my tax dollars do not go to have christian flags planted atop signs.

I'm as anti-christian as anyone, but they DO have a right to do that with the flag and to fly it.....that IS what freedom is about.

BUT, if you were to fly a flag with say a pentagram over the stripes, that is also your right.

Burning someone else's flag because it has a religious symbol on it isn't excercising your religious freedom, its violating theirs.

You can however buy and burn as many of your own flags, crosses, nativity scenes, or whatever else you want.

Try convincing a judge that flying an american flag with a christian cross on it while our troops are at war is a bad thing.
Especially since the odds are good that the person flying said flag has a family member serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Flying your own flag with your own symbol would be excercising your religious freedom, destroying someone else's property is breaking the law.
