but i wonder where my daughter will be at by the time shes 5

ill probably have at least visual basic in her head by then

senseidru 06-14-2004 03:47 PM

Too funny.....my daughter kicks her 11year old brother off his computer cuz she has to go to nickjr or to pbskids & don't try to move her along......she likes her time with the computer and no help at all & she's been doing this for about a year (since 2 1/2).

The funny thing is she hated the mouse for the first 2 days, she'd whip it across the room cuz she had little eye-hand coordination. Now she's a pro......my little princess.

ytcracker, just so you know, the hand-eye coordination is very important in development so make sure to get her memory games & let her use a computer (best if it's not your own).

MrIzzz 06-14-2004 03:51 PM

lol, its amazing how much faster kids learn technology today

shes going to have her own system to drool and spill food on

after all daddy still drools and spills food on his own keyboard

She's a cutie. Must be your pride and joy. Congratulations. :)

alexg 06-14-2004 03:55 PM

M.D.P. 06-14-2004 05:10 PM

Very cute....just don't let that be her favourite toy. Kids need to play outdoors or they become fat webmasters.

very cute but I keep thinking 'oh gosh, don't let her knock over that drink'

oh she was so cute . . . . . . .

hope she wouldnt learn how to browse Porn Sites . . ..

SykkBoy 06-14-2004 10:41 PM

My kids all started at early ages as well and are fairly literate on the computer (even my youngest who's nearly 4)
let her just have fun with the mouse hit the cd-rom section at ToysRUs, they have a lot of great hand-eye coordination games.
