thinking of selling my translation bizness
 

as i have new ventures i'm working on at the moment , i don't have enough time to manage my translation bizness.

i was thinking of selling the bizness , wich includes the domain names ( xtranslate.com and sitetranslators.com ) the customers base , the translators base etc ...

the bizness is doing quite good but is too time consuming at the moment enven thought i don't do the french translations myself anymore.

any party interested just ICQ me 752-51-91 to see what we could work out.

i'd really like to be able to keep going with it and implement stuff like geo targetting , but as previously said i have so many things i'm working on at the moment that i cannot keep it up.

of course i will carry out the current translations , but once they are finished , the biz would be all yours.

why dont u hire a business manager?

offer them a percent after expenses?

hiring a bizness manager implies that i have to explain everything again and again to make sure he does it the right way, unfortunately i have no time for it .

my partner medusa was doing a pretty good job but unfortunately she has to go out of the biz for personal reasons.

ideally the buyer would be an established translation company who knows what the job is. since i openned xtranslate there is at least 4 or 5 copycats who popped out of nowhere, so they might be interested in profiting of the name xtranslate.com and its branding impact on customers.

also the customer base is full of returning customers who open new sites every couple months and use xtranslate.com to translate them into 4-5 languages.

who does the translations? I only speak pequito espanol

i have a whole translators base who are used to work with xtranslate.com on a regular basis , ranging from german, spanish italian , japanese , chinese, enven macedonian or polish.

you name it .

I need a TON of translations done over the next year... you should try and keep it.

so you want to sell your site to an existing translation company right err.. why would they buy it?

surely your site not taking on any more work or being closed down completely will benefit them anyway without them having to spend money on buying you out lol

the way i figure it by posting this here you have not only told your competitors that they no longer have to worry about you but any potential clients you may have received will also be looking for alternative companies too

I used to have a good translation shop I was dealing with, but the owner, (one HOT looking strawberry blonde lassie) got homesick for Russia and went back. Broke my heart twice with the prices she was offering and not seeing her again. :(
