What to do if a sponsor owes you $$$
I have been pretty lucky with most of my sponsors. But HARDCOREMONEY closed down and they owe me money. Supposedly they closed their affiliate program, but how can they just not pay their affiliates now. Their actual sites like celebvip.com and gayorgy.com are still up and making money. If I didn't come to this board by luck I would still be sending traffic to them for nothing.
Legally what can I do? I never had an issue like this before and I haven't heard anything from them nor can I reach them. Sponsors that I really like and PAY (I'm only listing sponsors I am pushing right now) TRAFFIC CASH GOLD SILVERCASH TOPBUCKS CLICKCASH JUICYBUCKS QUICKBUCK NASTYDOLLARS frosty-nyc- |

Hardcoremoney owe me over $4000 .
If I was in the US i would definetly try to do something about it.They own some nice domains like teengirls.com and if you could get enough people together to start a class action against them maybe there is a chance to force them to sell those domains to pay their creditors. |
i know how you feel
kman owns me money too. all you can do is post on GFY. |
They owe me $700- Im a chick by the way =)~
I'm pissed because they closed down their site and when I emailed them it bounced back to me. And just to be curious I went to their sites and they are still up and running. So basically people that signed up thru me could still possibly be members! I just don't like the feeling of being scammed and they can't just close down and not pay their affiliates. WRONG I HATE THIS SHIT. |
Oh swami I emailed you remember?
Oh and also...... They never sent any email out either stating that there program was being terminated. They def did this on purpose so unsuspecting webmasters would continue to send traffic. Who wants to send traffic to a site and not get paid for their work? So thank god for this webmaster board that I saw some random thread from the guy that ran it. Here was the post by HardcoreMike ______________________________________________ Due to increased external pressures and unforseen circumstances beyond out control, Global Media, Inc. will cease to operate the HardcoreMoney.com adult affiliate program, effective immediately and indefinately. Those of you who know us will understand that we don't do this lightly, and we wish all our affiliates and partners the very best in your future endeavors. Please direct all questions regarding the affiliate program to [email protected] ________________________________________________ I tried emailing them immediately after seeing this post and the mails never went thru. But yet they are still operating their porn sites. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM |

I remember hardcoremoney was present at the Internext in Miami in 2002, with parties, etc. Makes you wonder who you can trust these days ...
But as a rule, when I promote a new sponsor, I always stop sending traffic after I make the minimum for a check, and wait for the money, at least to minimize my losses in case they don't pay. |
Yea you're right. I should have waited until I got the first check, but you don't think shit like this will happen.... and if it does you think the sponsor will have enough business ethics to email their affiliates about the closing instead of posting on a message board(you can't assume that every affiliate would even see it or even assume they come here). I'm sure they owe a hell of alot more to other affilates then me.
They can't be doing too bad since I noyiced their sites celebvip.com and gayorgy.com are still up and running. Bottom line, seems like they scammed their affiliates. They most likely knew they were in trouble long before cancelling the program. And they figured they get over even more by getting as many members as possible - thanks to the affilates who were going to get tricked without getting paid. |
