Saw it last nite and would really want my money back!

There was NO plot!
NONE AT ALL.

He is the last man left of his "kind". (doesnt explain where he is from)
He can see in the dark. (no explanation)
Once he has the goggles on, then they are off...
Kills more ppl then Arnold, Stallone and Van Damme combined and he does it all with a knife (he has a gun only at some points)

When he is in jail, the temperature outside is -300C at nite and +700 during the day, and yet he isnt even cold at nite. And during the day he is in the sun and comes back SMOKING (no, no, +700C weather is NOTHING for vin diesel).

The ending is the most predictible one ever.

If I were a movie critic I wouldnt even review this movie.

The riddick movies assume that you have seen that already. It explains the eyes etc...

Oh, and then there is Vin Diesel, who wanted THIRTY MILLION for fast and the furious 2.

LOL, he should be happy if he gets over 500,000 a flick. His stupid monotonous voice can only be used in movies where he doesnt talk a lot.

The whole movie is played in a tanktop. Yes, the audience knows he is ripped but doesnt have to see it for the whole movie. Fuck!

I laugh at those who dare compare him to arnold. Arnold is a bad actor but he gets no lines in his movies so the fight scenes make up for it. And when he does have some lines they are funny one liners such as the occasional, your fired joke when he fries a bad guy.

The fact Vin was in it would have been the first clue the movie was junk.

Vin Diesel sucked? Unbelieveable

It was a good movie. A lot different then the Lord of the rings,
Starwars and other space shit that came out recently. Different
kind of sci-fi.

I thought Vin Deisel was ok in it. I think his best movie was
Boiler room.

watched the making of the video game and I must say it looks great and looks like it plays like halo. I might skip the movie but I gotta rent the game

I thought it was a fun movie.

What the hell did you expect? lol. Vin was obviously just going to be strong and kill stuff. That's just the kind of movies he does.

And as mentioned, you have to see the first movie to really understand what's going on.

I think I'm going to go rent the first one now, just for the hell of it.

I agree, honestly I liked the movie. In fact, I felt it was better than Universal's marketing made it out to be. Their previews definitely gave me the impression that it was subpar - I went in just to see it but I walked out more entertained than I expected.

Overall it gets a :thumbsup

I think the movie deserves an Oscar...

I liked the movie. I had seen Pitch black so the unexplained characters and plot didn't bother me.

Vin Deisel is just a door man.

If the guy would'nt talk.. the movies might be better.

I thought it was going to be lame from the commercials but some of my friends were going to see it so I joined them.

I was actually surprised at how good the movie turned out to be. Sci-fi always has the potential to be cheesy and unbelievable but I think they did this one well.

I am pretty sure my girlfriend wants to see it, so we will most likely go. I love SCI-FI and I am sure this isn't the worst ever.

It would be really hard to be the worst ever, and in being the worst ever, would make it a cult classic.

A lot of the explanations you were looking for were in part 1. Chronicles of Riddick is part two in a series of movies.

The first movie was called Pitch Black. Rent it and you will have your explanations about his eyes, Jack (kerri) etc..

I was comparing it to that while in the theatre.

Vin Diesel is a great actor, I consider him very sexy man. And all movies with him are great:thumbsup

I loved it. Vin Diesel is the best action hero we've had for a long time.

It's also been a long time since I saw a good action/scifi in theatres... This isn't supposed to be stimulating, just shut your brain off for a while and enjoy the movie :)
