Got around 2500 sq ft of studio, well over 20 settings, including a blue wall, gym, kitchen office, lots of bedrooms and living room settings. All split into 4 separate but linked self contained units.

50 models who will do from solo to boy girl, with a make up artist, assistant and translator. Plus my expert help. LOL

Got 15+ studio strobe lights and tungstens and lots more useful bits and pieces, plus furniture.

You can rent it by the day or by the week, it's big enough for you and us to work in at the same time.

There is no way anyone can shoot B/G for what you want to pay and if they could why would they want to sell it to you for stupid money. They would have guys knocking on their doors all day long at $500 a scene.

Why should I take a pay cut to work for you?

You obviously do not have a clue what I earn or what I'm worth.

Let me inform you a little. A magazine solo girl set in the UK sells for $1,000, the same set in the US sells for $1,800. Then there is EU and World rights and after that second rights, you have to wait a year before you can do second rights. We can shoot and sell 80 of these a year. Girl Girl and Boy Girl sell for more. We are now earning money selling our videos to the DVD market.

Then there is the Internet, a solo girl set $35 work out for your self how many times we sell a set. But a boy-girl set and video, sold to magazines is worth $3,000 minimum and the same on the Internet. So why in fucks name do I want to work for a clown like you for $50,000 a year CLEAR money?

From what I was reading you expect me to pay for everything out of the $50,000. Now just because you afford good content , why do you assume everyone else can't.

At a time when most content providers are shrinking, doing blow outs, getting out of the business, no longer shooting, we took on another worker to shoot, bought 4 new $600 studio lights and enlarged the studio. Do you know why?

IKEA is great for creating nice sets - somebody who worked for Denys Defrancesco says he has a place in Prague and maybe Budapest, an apartment, every month he goes to IKEA and furnishes the place, does his shoots, dumps the furniture probably for a few bucks less than it cost him.

You are the one who can't compete. If you can only afford $50k for $250 B/G scenes you have to be broke. I would not shoot solo girl for that money.

I have heard from several souirces that he is not even making his rent payments and late on paying his bills. Just give it time and he soon will be gone and we won't have to read his worthless posts about nothing...

selling imagery in contrived studio type setups to today's surfers is a losing battle.

sure, there are efficiencies in putting together little rooms of controlled lighting, pastel walls, and ikea furniture, but the downside to this is that the entire effort is wasted on a mediocre product, no matter how attractive the models. i count clicks, my surfers won't look at that stuff for free, let alone buy memberships to it. it's tacky to the max.

today's surfer wants the illusion of reality. he has already seen 10,000 times the so-called "teen bedroom setup" with the stuffed teddy bears, the "teacher school girl setup" with the blackboard, the "doctor patient setup" with the examining table & stirrups, etc, etc, ad nauseum.

if content producers can't think of anything new in the world of erotica it does not matter what they know about f/stop and iso, it just won't play today.

print erotica is basically dead, not a growth industry, glamour erotica the way it's usually done is mostly dead. lighting should be low key "bedroom" style to sell, period. a few guys understand this, surprisingly, most "content" producers don't; and wonder why no one buys their shit. clue, pickup a victorian secret catalog and look at how pros shoot women. look at fashion advertizing, perfume ads, etc. you don't photograph a girl like she is a fucking hubcap.

if you must shoot "studio style" with strobes it must give the illusion of natural light---hot lights give the look of artificiality, the models pupils close down---a turnoff to most surfers.
