fake tgp question
 

If you wanted to make some fake tgps with rotating galleries, hosted and your own galleries..would you bother buying a rotating script to allow you to make thumbnails and rotate etc or would you use just a free simple php script that calls galleries from text documents and just have them as text only tgps?
Wondering what would be better in the long run.....since i imagine the text ones would be much faster and easier to whip out so i could make more of those and cheaper than a bought script but i hear thumbnail tgps convert better...hmmmm....

Yea but sometimes text, get's better productivity. Combine both into one! :winkwink: Atleast I've always noticed my productivity go up with some kind of text links.

TGP Daemon is an excellent script. I have it running all 5 of my fake TGPs and I love it.

Its simple yet powerful as hell and I haven't managed to break it yet... oh and I set it all up! I'm NO techie. You host it on your server :thumbsup

Rumour has it that Comus is the absolute best script for this, though I haven't yet tried it. http://nibbi.net/scripts/comus_thumbs.php
