how big should members areas pics be?
 

I just signed up for _somebodies_ new website to see if it was worth promoting since its revshare...

the pics were only 500pixels wide/high max... plus the video links didnt work

no way in hell would this get recurring memberships...

so apart from the videos not working which would be cause enough for anyone to cancel straight away, how big should the pics be?

ps i want a refund

Shit, whenever i make a gallery for a TGP, i make the max width/height 540 pixels. Member's area should maybe offer those dimensions for dialup users, but shiiit.

wonder how many people check out members areas before sending traffic... especially revshare

Were the pictures video captures or were they (real) pictures?

we do 2 sizes.

1200px

and

800px

surfers can choose

we also do 4 versions of each video, 1000kbps, 500 kbps, 300kbps and 100kbps....and each one is broken down for 6-8 parts, or you can download the whole thing all at once.

The bigger the better, and best to let your surfers choose the size they want though... 600 for small, 800 for medium and 1000 for large for example...

I was using 800x600 pics until a few months ago, when more members started asking for larger photos. I offered both 1024 and 800 for a while, then dropped the 800 and I haven't had any complaints. Now I've got a few requests for 1078 pictures, or whatever the next size up is. The trick is to just go with what the surfers want, I guess.
