HBO's Six Feet Under.. Any Good?

Im seeing a lot of ads for the HBO show Six feet under..

Never really watched it like all the other HBO show in the past..

I know it won some awards and shit, but is it any good??

DOnt have too many people in my social circle who watch it, and never see any of you people talkin about it..

Not sure what its even about. But the ads look kinda cool.

Any good?

I like it...written and developed by the same guy who did American Beauty.

I just haven't watched it in awhile or much of anything on t.v.

sweet7 06-12-2004 04:25 PM

I enjoy it. I'd say it's pretty good.

Matiz 06-12-2004 04:25 PM

I like it. But it just started here. So, I don't know if it's really good in the long run.

Rictor 06-12-2004 05:30 PM

Rent the first season on DVD from Netflix or Blockbuster and see if you like it.

stephanie m. 06-12-2004 06:10 PM

Marcus Aurelius 06-12-2004 06:11 PM

Centurion 06-12-2004 06:51 PM

The BEST series on TV, premium or basic! :thumbsup

VegasSEGirl 06-12-2004 07:05 PM

It's good if you like dramas and serious stuff. I like it, but my husband thinks it's boring.

Doctor Dre 06-12-2004 07:07 PM

If its about the family that runs the business for the dead people, then yes watch it its great ...

Doctor Dre 06-12-2004 07:08 PM

You have to watch it 2-3 times to start understading the whole concept and it gets good ... first time might really suck .

Just watch the Movie Network instead, it plays all the same shows. (Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Deadwood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc.)

boneprone 06-12-2004 11:22 PM

I just finished watching last season on Comcast's On-Demand. Like a previous post said, at first it's a little odd, but once you get a feel for the characters it's actually quite good.

It's fantastic! Perfect blend of morbidity and humour. We watched the whole first season on DVD and are dying for them to release more.
