sig value = horrible!!!!

has anyone else noticed porndollar's impression/click counter people are flying on thier sigs?

i am seeing 3500 impressions resulting in 2 clicks. that is .0005% click through rate. another guy shows 5900 impressions and 19 clicks. that is .003%. AND SPONSPORS ARE PAYING $3000, $5000, $8000 people for peoples fucking sigs?????

SPONSORS DO YOU GUYS DO MATH? THAT IS $500-$1000 PER CLICK YOU ARE PAYING!!!!!

i know i know i know, branding right?

M_M 06-12-2004 12:31 PM

Afraid of losing your sig value? :1orglaugh

eroswebmaster 06-12-2004 12:34 PM

All it takes is one to click for it to be worthwhile...and believe me it happens...I know from experience how valuable one click can be.

Nathan 06-12-2004 12:34 PM

yeah, all the sponsors paying big on them will say "branding" although most of them probably never really calculated it a lot...

But, this is the worst thing about those sig counters and people putting them up... it destroys the (possably fake) value totally :) Why would anyone in their right mind put a CLICK COUNT on them?! Its bound to show low results! This is a message board afterall...

not at all. my sig has been renewed three months in a row. obviously, it's worth something for topbucks.

and my sig gets a lot more views and clicks than the numbers he posted.

Very well put.

TwinCities 06-12-2004 12:58 PM

i don't care if the click throughs are 2,3,4 times what i posted, the % is still shit! sponsors buy sigs because thier competition has. they keep up with with the joneses... not because it makes sense for THIER business.

selling a sig is like selling a pet rock only with a higher price tag.

Spunky 06-12-2004 01:00 PM

This thread is a joke...disgruntled noobs complaining because they couldn't get 2 nickles for their sig...those sig counters are easily manipulated with bots and aren't accurate at all.

sigs are for fucking losers,

and u r stupid to think ppl actually get that kind of money, its all hype so people start to talk about the program,

this in turns brings on all u idiots who think they can make "real" money with sigs,

i have never and will never fly one of those crappy ass programs.

I know what you mean. when I first made my presense here I put upa casino button in my sig and the first night someone deposited $300, soI made $90. I won't mention the gambler:winkwink:

TwinCities 06-12-2004 01:18 PM

i love some of the logic here on the boards. now that a program is showing results of a sig people say that the numbers are falsely inflated or are skewed by bots???? very weak argument that someone would inflate the impressions and not the clicks that leave a shitty click through %. now if someone said bots are used to inflate and improve the clickthrough rate then that is more believeable.

so sigwhores, what are the real numbers then? i see lots of account id's in sigs.

emthree 06-12-2004 01:25 PM

Sign up one good affiliate and they might bring you in $1,000 a month for years. Look at it that way. What's an affiliate worth?
