249$ setup fee? is this a joke?

has anyone actually paid them upfront yet?

really curious to know if people are using it and what they think of it.

SABAI 06-12-2004 03:48 AM

anyone?

Guess you'd rathe keep 100% of the zero dollars you were previously getting for people who won't use a credit card or a dialer.

:)

Established businesses do not have to pay the set up fee.

exactly, 123bill is also great for declined sales from other processors. just slap a link on the decline pages, personally i'd rather not tell them i don't want their membership fee. 65% is better than insulting them and sending them away empty handed.

Some people just don't know business.

123bill guys are good people with an even better idea! imagine the business you could be turning away without them!

(yawn) ...home from San Diego Cybernet Expo, but not rested!

As the press release and pinned thread said here on GFY last week, there is no setup fee for established merchants. We're trying our best to discourage unqualified candidates from applying so that we can make the best use of our time, of which there doesn't seem to be enough of with all of new business coming aboard.

If you don't like the idea, I guess you won't be using the service. You'll have to re-evaluate exactly how it is you came to the conclusion that this was a bad idea when you see us implemented on so many major affiliate programs in the near future.

:winkwink:

Cheers,

Brad

123bill.com will be implemented in the future on our paysites...so far they seem like good people...don't hate on them until you've actually given them a chance....that's how it should be for anything!
