WTF? Dual Channel RAM?

I'm confused about the different DDR RAM I'm finding. How can I tell if it's dual channel or not? I'm thinking about buying 2 sticks of this:

It doesn't say anything about being dual channel. Or does the MB automatically shift into dual mode when I install (2) 512MB sticks? (provided that the MB supports it)

As long as the two sticks are the same, it should work. I've heard it doesn't make that much of a difference anyways...

It's just confusing, because these guys (TigerDirect.com) have their DDR memory broken into all these different categories for overclocking, dual channel, etc, etc, etc. See what I mean here:

:Oh crap

dual chanel will only work properly if your motherboard supports it. it essentially means dual means of access, the goal is to double the accessability speed of the ram or it's throughput.
