Sponsors/Affiliate Programs...What Attracts You Most?

What attracts me is first of all features offered. Then quality of content and then word of mouth from other webmasters.

Do you guys choose on which billing processor is used, if so, which is preferable?

I avoid sponsors with CCBill because of scrubbing. I also suspect that CCBill shaves.

Deeaammmnn!!! Them is some good stats! I just found something new!

That's why I was asking because I'm constantly being asked to do an affiliate program but the demand is too much for a one man operation. Too many niches and more growing. To cover them all I would burn out.

Personally i usually go for the not so overexposed sponsors with rare niches, free content is nice but not a "must have", everybody is using the same content otherwise, usually buy it myself..

For instance porngreen.com, good rare niches and not every webmaster on the planet is promoting them (yet).

just my :2 cents: , hope it helps u :)

I can tell you what I don't like.

Programs that don't have their shit together. You have to wait days to get your login, messed up links, can't find your links.

It would be great to promote the 'little known programs' and amateurs but so few of them have their webmaster areas in order and I hate having to 'drop them a line' for a picture or two.

I don't mind CCbill programs.
I do like programs that give you a pretty good idea if they have nice fpa and galleries before you sign up.

Condensed: Easy to use program. Good tools. Sign up and get promoting!

CCBill shaving? hehe..that would be a big mistake...i don't think they would risk their business by shaving...they aren't sponsors..they are a processing company..

Problem is lotsa programs allow you to join AFTER they've exposed their goods in the " We've selected webmasters to test these programs first " arena. So by the time you get in it's already been played.

CCBill may be scrubbing, but often small one-site-programs via CCBill offer better sites than big sponsors offering a site for every niche...because they understand their niche, produce their own content and are in close contact to the fan community.

It's not like there aren't any good big sponsor programs, but some scrubbing and 1:300 is still better than no scrubbing and 1:700 because the site is a wannabe niche site :2 cents:

1-Good Payout
2-Promo material such as FHG's, POTD, Gallery Templates
3-Support; ie: not aving to wait for months before someone answers your question
4-Reputable payment processor

bopha - hit me up on icq. i have a "little known amateur program" with its shit together :)

Anyone else for that matter...

And so i'm not hijacking a thread - I look for programs that look like they'll convert - like others said, under-promoted niche stuff!
