That's what I was thinking, yes sometimes funerals have some humor to them. Someone gets up there and talks about a good time or funny time from the persons life, tends to help ease the suffering a bit.

When a man dies a the age of 93, the dying itself isn't sad I think .. the man had a long life .. the only sad thing is that some people ofcourse will miss him... (Understand me correctly)

I agree dying is part of life, I mean its common to be sad but it doesn't need to be a depressed atmosphere, life goes on...Sometimes people are smiling because they remember the diseased as a kind person

The first part was clearly an explanation of why they were smiling for Mr. Fictions benefit, because he's a moron and simple shit needs to be explained to him, in which case the "are you just finding this out ?" implies he wasn't paying attention.

the second part, "by the way, you're still an idiot" couldn't possibly yield the response "are you just finding this out ?" if he was paying attention, because I included the word "still" which implies I'd previously come to that conclusion.

Having watched pretty much the entire thing, I can tell you there were several moments where a speaker told of a humorous moment in reagans life.
One story was about how he always wrote back to people who wrote to him. One was a boy who wrote that his mother was making him clean his room. Reagan wrote back saying that he could understand the boys mother declaring his room a disaster area, and perhaps the boy could ask for a grant for a clean up effort.
Just paraphrasing, but it was very funny and most everyone laughed or smiled at least.
I did find it in poor taste to only invite republicans to speak.
Reagan belonged to America. Not a political party.
But all in all, it was fairly well done and very respectful. :thumbsup
