NCAA Football 2004

Torn Rose 06-11-2004 10:57 AM

Splinter Cell 1 & 2

I just finished 2, good game kinda crappy ending.

Meta Ridley 06-11-2004 10:57 AM

I just started playing Star Wars, Knight of the Old Republic and it fucking rules. Got great reviews too. And Ive never played an RPG in my life.

MR2 06-11-2004 10:59 AM

I'd say, prince of persia. kick ass graphix! and gameplay too. :glugglug

ImLost 06-11-2004 11:01 AM

deathrow is the best

evildick 06-11-2004 11:02 AM

If you don't have the PC version and have Xbox live, then Counterstrike is addictive as hell. The voice chat is hilarious. I'd like to strangle some of those little fuckers on there.

Don't get it though if you don't have Live or if you have access to the PC version.

The Suffering is good if you like single player games. The Chronicles of Riddick game was pretty amazing on the demo version too, almost Doom 3 quality graphics. Should be a good one to pick up.

This is actually a pretty reliable site for reviews:

Manowar 06-11-2004 11:03 AM

Project Gotham Racing 2 is pretty fun

samuel 06-11-2004 11:04 AM

So the ending of Splinter Cell 2 is kind a crappy shit?

:(

Samuel

skillfull 06-11-2004 11:05 AM

The ending of 1 was much harder, but it's still a good game:2 cents:

Knights of the Old Republic - There's a reason why it owns nearly every Game of the Year award out there.

TzarJorge 06-11-2004 11:49 AM

Ninja Gaiden

Played it on PC.
Awesome game. Cant wait for KOTOR II

Torn Rose 06-11-2004 12:41 PM

KOTOR was fun, but I didnt care for all the "run here, run over there, then run back" crap

Playing the Dark side was far more fun! :winkwink:

4Pics 06-11-2004 12:45 PM

Top Spin : the best tennis game ever
Prince of Persia
Splinter Cell
The Return of The King : if you loved the movie, you'll love the game
Halo

collegeclam 06-11-2004 01:48 PM

good/fun games:

halo (fun online)
madden (fun with friends and beer)
matrix (very cool)
max payne (if youre into film and actual stories)
burnout: point of impact (fave driving game)
conflict desert storm 2 (fun on multiplayer)
vice city (you should know why this is cool)

terrible games:

hunter the reckoning (repetitive and boring)
kakuto chojin (banned in usa, probably because it sucks)
ninja gaiden (great graphics, horrible game)
starsky and hutch (cant believe ben stiller is in a game)
tenchu stealth assasins (much better on playstation 1)
manhunt - boring as shit. use the same 4 weapons all the time. cool concept, shitty game.

ok games
van helsing - pretty cool but easy.
chronicles of riddick - resembles deus ex, just rented it yesterday...no real comment yet.
splinter cell 1&2 - i think theyre boring as all hell.
suffering - played it for 10 minutes and turned it off. lots of blood n cool stuff, but just wasnt that fun. reminds me of the hulk with less fighting. hulk was kinda cool, but after a little while, it gets repetitive.

if you have a blockbuster nearby, get the monthly gaming pass. 20 bucks, all you can rent games. no due date.

chronic avenger 06-11-2004 02:41 PM

ok xbox or XBOX LIVE....

Rainbow 6 3
Counter Strike
XIII
Project Gothem
Full Spectrum Warrior
Fight Night

If any one has Rainbow 6 3 XBOX Live ... Come get shot up.

i bought that game cause of its great reviews everywhere, and after attemping to play for like 10 mins its been collecting dust since then , it is shit

uvort 06-11-2004 02:44 PM

Halo until November 9th...cuz then it will be Halo 2 :thumbsup

Chaldoray 06-11-2004 03:25 PM

Bump, keep this thread alive! :winkwink:

collegeclam 06-11-2004 04:08 PM

i forgot.

true crime streets of la is horrible. its fun for about 3 minutes, after you get over the foul language, and realize that fuck doesnt make a game cool.

i beat this game in like 3 hours.

i saw reviews and thought this was going to be the ultimate followup to vice city. wrong. we'll see how gta san andreas is.

where im at, blockbusters game pass is:

20 bucks a month.
can rent as many games as you want, but one at a time.
can keep it out as long as you want.
no due dates.
no late fees.

only setback is that you can only rent one game at a time. so if cockbuster is close by and you dont have ADD, then you wont need more than one at a time.

gamefly is a few bucks cheaper, but im guessing you have to wait for games in the mail. and by the time the games get there, youre probably not bored anymore.

Jer 06-11-2004 06:25 PM

I never played xbox, but I would like to see if "Toe Jam & Earl" is fun
