KapstA 06-11-2004 09:37 AM

I use Epoch, Ibill, and CCBill I am looking for a 4th and 5th option.

MattO 06-11-2004 09:38 AM

If you've got the volume, a merchant account of your own can do you good.

in my experience they rock... we've never had a problem w/ them, always received our wires on time and their scrub is not ever too strong. if your site is something that will appeal to many european or asian users Verotel will definitely get you more sales than any of the US-based processors, they don't seem to have as much trouble w/ transactions from those locales than "the big three" here in the states, lots of sales that would have been scrubbed out due to locale go through fine w/ Verotel..

KapstA 06-11-2004 10:11 AM

Thats good to hear.

Absolutely ditto for us.

We tried them on a small site, rough rough setup and god knows who or where they run outta.
We are looking at Verotel Pro as a 3rd bill option on some of our sites. Used them in past and only prob was their god awfull EU direct debit which sucked back then. Card processing though worked fine and payments were met week in week out.

:2 cents:

mrgica 06-11-2004 11:53 AM

Verotel rocks!

Why?

1. You have possibilities to pay much less then to other processors.
2. Verotel payment form convert better then CCBill or Ibill.

What more do you want? see my sig

Nathan 06-11-2004 12:02 PM

What more do I want?

Verotel does not support advanced features _at all_. They have no variable pass through system, no join form option pre-selection or pre-filling of fields for true cascading, no reporting backend to fetch the rebill/credi/chargeback data from them in a scripted way.

IF a Verotel person is reading this and I am wrong, and this is now supported, please let me know!

Its the only reason we are not adding Verotel to the NATS platform.

Well that's true, verotel is not to recommend to huge paysites.
But for european webmasters that make about $150-$500 a day verotel is excellent, of course if you don't need any of those advanced functions thought..
Since I changed to verotel I make 30-35% more with the same traffic.

Gasper 06-11-2004 02:07 PM

Verotel works fine for me too :thumbsup

Dailydiapers 06-12-2004 11:28 AM

Verotel has been great to me.

Our setup is no rougher then any others out there...I would call it a complete setup which is not that hard to go through and the best part of our setup is our customer service. Either through ICQ or e-mail we will have your answer in no time at all! As for who we are and where we run outta...our web site says it all! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Got a problem with #2. Verotel's form does NOT convert better. The higher conversion rate of Verotel is because crackers cannot crack into your website without first hacking either into your site or Verotel. Why? Because Verotel makes all usernames and passwords for members manditorally. If you used a script to generate the user/pass then CCBILL, EPOCH and IBILL would convert just as well.

mcmc 06-25-2004 03:34 AM

does verotel send the checkes to the WMs itself (like CCbill) or does the sponsor has to do that ?

spooky181 06-25-2004 03:54 AM

I switched from CCbill to Verotel a couple of years ago and couldn't believe the jump in signups. :)

Theo 06-25-2004 06:28 AM

paycom = epoch

probably 2nd or 3rd largest

romeoboi 06-25-2004 06:31 AM

if paycom=epoch then why do they have separate websites? is it all just for marketing purposes?

roybucks 06-25-2004 06:34 AM

edit

Zprogramz 06-25-2004 10:25 AM

This is how I see it and how we use it...

Netbilling - the most flexibility within their system and gives webmasters/merchants the most control. The daily payouts are nice too. Their support staff is awesome.

CCbill - The best 3rd party processor as far as payouts, customer support, and reliability. Most likely the biggest of the bunch and well trusted by affiliates.

Jettis, Epoch, and Verotel are all good too but we do not use them currently. I am just going by what others say.

Use any of the above and you should be ok. It all depends on your needs.
-----------

Ibill - NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!

Z

Hentaikid 06-25-2004 12:02 PM

Verotel sends wires (15$) check or ACH deposit to the affiliates directly.

Also, most people don't know this but you can combine sites you promote (And even the ones you own) into one verotel ID just like you do with CCbill to consolidate payouts

imageman 06-25-2004 12:56 PM

For us and our affiliates we trust
Epoch #1
CCbill #2
Our own merchant account #3

We dont trust anyone else with our money !!
