CPU - friendly Html-ad rotator

What is the best CPU - friendly script currently to do this job..
It should support multiple domains and not just banners html ads also.:helpme

What about this one ?
http://phpadsnew.com/two/

Looks nice but it looks a little bit too complicated for my current needs
:)

Why do you say that?

I'm using PHPAdMentor. Uses "Zones" to set up areas of the site or multiple domains.

Site Download | Zip

The only thing I don't like is that HTML ads don't track clicks, only image-only ads

phpadsnew is a pig on server resources when used on a high traffic site. If you don't have much traffic, it's fine. I would also have a look at http://oasis.sourceforge.net and http://www.adcycle.com

AdCycle running in daemon mode is pretty damned fast and easier on the server than phpadsnew.

Thanks for suggestions..:thumbsup

Btw....
I was told that generally speaking PHP scripts always need lower system resources than CGI

Is this true?

How much traffic is too much if i would consider script like phpadsnew?

Take a look at Geo-Ads PHP http://www.geoadsphp.com/. It's simple to use and includes geo-targeting.

That depends entirely on the servers processor(s), memory, and current load.
