I'd take it to the auto auction and pick up some wheels I knew I could make a quick return on, then wash rinse and repeat. Auto auction cars are much cheaper than retail value. Hondas are always a safe bet and always available.

If you pick up the right cars, get rid of them pretty quickly and turn a nice profit on them. 1 the first week...2 the second week...3 the third...

I can't think of many things I would jump into with only $5k. Of course it can be done, but too much work and risk is involved, IMO. I wouldn't jump at anything without $10-20k available for burning.
