I remember in my senior year they would block off access to hotmail, yahoo mail and other free emails but you could access porn no problem. Go figure what the librarians are thinking.

The library association fought to be required to have filters. They didn't want them since the filters could potentially block information regarding sexuality but not necessarily porn.

its a foggy issue some are following it some are fighting it .

We use a Microsoft Exchange server for email, contacts, meetings, etc. We use to have it setup on mail.consumptionjunction.com but I found I couldn't even get to my mail when the domain was blocked. We learned from experience to setup a different domain for web access of your email.
