Press: Can-Spam Act Not Yet Effective
DENVER ? Only one in six pornographic unsolicited emails complied with a new Federal Trade Commission rule regarding the labeling of pornographic spam, according to network security firm MX Logic. still not worth it. Effective mailers will spend 30-40k a month just in hosting and related expenses. You can spend that $ on legitimate advertising to produce the same results.
Also, if read about people who have been busted, the governement will spend a lot of time just watching you, compiling evidence, etc. So, its a bit pre-mature to say the law isn't effective:2 cents: |
And the amusing thing, is maybe it is effective, but the spammers aren't Americans :O No, people outside the US can't use the internet, sorry, my bad.
