Dialer Conversions? What to expect..
 

I've messed with dialers on and off over the years, but never sent a significant amount of traffic to any of them.

What would you say is an average conversion rate ... on foreign traffic? On US traffic?

By conversion, I mean someone who uses the dialer even for 30 seconds ... any profitable action.

And on that note, who's got the most profitable dialers? Any pros want to share some info?

You would need a dropcharge dialer, this way no matter the duration of the call you will be paid a set fee. Short holdtimes are not really profitable on perminute calls these days, because it only adds up to a buck or two w/ the current rates. This is usually the case for shitty dialers w/ poor content or a poor setup.

The conversion ratio is hard to be determined, I usually send 404 traffic to dialers and the return is pretty good vs pay per signup. Clicked/targeted would of course convert a lot better.

so far as conversion go in all honesty it is going to depend on both the type of traffic you are sending and the country that ttraffic comes from

to give you an example though on average from stats i have available to me australian traffic has a hold time of around 10-12 mins per call overall whilst austria has a hold time of around 30 seconds to 1 minute

that should give you an idea about how drastically the hold times change from country to country

drop charging as has been mentioned above is a good way to ensure that you make a solid minimum amount on all your dialer traffic however you would be better off uing a mixture of dialers that do bill by drop charge as well as on a per minute basis this way you should be able to filter your traffic using geo targeting to send specific countries to specific dialer sponsors and maximize the revenues you get from those sponsors so for example if dialer 1 pays out 10 cents a minute for austrian traffic and dialer 2 only pays out 8 cents a minute redirect all austrian traffic to dialer 1
