Content providers: Help needed!
 

Hi everybody!

Maybe somebody can help me out: It's the first time a customer wants to buy single pictures for a dating site instead of full sets. What can I possibly charge per picture - it makes much more work picking them instead of delivering the sets. :(

I'm not sure if Matrix does it anymore, but they used to charge $10/photo to do this. It devalues the content quite a bit, IMO.

2.50 per pic? Only a suggestion.

I think you need to determine what is more important to you:

Being accomodating to all customers, including the smaller ones
or
placing the value on your time rather than a potential sale.

Hmmm, $0.10 to $10 - that's a big range. :(

have a look at the last entry in my sig and then compare it to the owner of ezsets.com :Graucho

$2 a picture, minimum order 100 pictures and we select them.

It's a lot of time and these guys bvery rarely buy anything else. We have a client who buys kissing pictures 2-3 times a year and it's worth it.

What annoys me is the guys who want 1-3 pics for a design and think I should do all the work for $5 :1orglaugh
