Is Larry Bird A RACIST???
|
Idiot, did you even read the interview or just read the subject from whatever thread you stole it from.
Read this: "I mean, the greatest athletes in the world are African-American." - Bird He even goes on to say he was bothered when they choose a white man to guard him. |
No
|
No, he openly admits that African Americans are the best and wanted to play against them.
|
um no..read the article again
|
I can't stand this PC bullshit mentality.
As soon as somebody mentions race they are branded a racist. Even those among us who reject the notions of racial superiority need to recognise that we live in a society where racism is endemic. If we can't openly discuss racial differences what hope do we have of ridding society of racial prejudice. |
Ask AMP about Afro-Americans. :Graucho

larry bird is awesome and no he is not a racist
|
Not a racist at all. When is telling the truth racist?
:2 cents: |
I don't think so at all!!! He was the greatest non athletic white guy to ever play basketball!
|
"I mean, the greatest athletes in the world are African-American." - Bird
What a jackass, he might mean the greatest athletes in US are African-American. I haven't seen a single Africa-American football (soccer) player to be best in the world. |
Larry Bird just vocalized what most white people think. It's so hypocritical to call him a racist because he believes there needs to be more white players in the NBA. What if Jerome Iginla, for instance, said there needs to be more black players in the NHL, would he be considered racist?

to much reading dude:(
