It was so sad. I remember when he got shot in third grade and we had a big discussion about it in class. Seemed so intense back then.

Ole Nancy is the picture of class and poise. It's gotta be a nightmare to take care of anyone you love with something like Alzheimers. She helped him go with dignity.

Nancy killed me a couple of times........ I remember people saying what a bitch she was when I was younger..... but man, they broke the mold when they made her. She has my undying respect, and has had for many years. The love she had for him and the way she protected his dignity was simply amazing..... :thumbsup

I must admit I was no great fan of his terms or administration but Nancy is truly a class act and watching her mourn her loss was genuinley moving.

To have a woman that devoted and loving by your side is truly a blessing.

I am THAT devoted to my husband.... but I am not in the public eye...... and no one would ever know it. HER being in the public eye like that had to make it even harder on her. But that woman DEMANDED that he get the respect he damn well deserved. She gave him dignity and made the whole world respect that. :thumbsup

i don't understand all the fuss over his death , he was 93 damnit, its normal that he dies one day sooner or later.

He has been suffering from alzhiemers for years, which means that a) he died years ago b) nancy's better off with out him. How would you like to wake up in the morning and your husband for most of your life doesn't even know who you are? He died years ago and she's better off with out him imo
