some old lady in Knightdale, n.c. a small rednekkk town, wants to change the internet by making porn sites use .xxx instead of .com, .net, etc.. after her granddaughter accidentally saw porn on the internet search for a teen magazine.

obviously she doesn't understand anything about how internet biz works, but neither do the stupid senators (Elizabeth dole, Republican) and the 60,000 sigs she has on the petition and its gaining momentum in this christian/republican america we live in.

obviously, this is a flawed alternative to actually monitoring your kids activities.

were does porn begin? is a topless model porn? who will decide what is porn?

also, the moron who paid $10,000,000 for sex.com will be fucked and what will become of adult .com's? will they redirect to porn? will i have to re-buy all my domains under .xxx ?

i doubt this will ever pass, but fuck, its getting a lot of attention.

stop allowing people to breed and i wouldnt have to act a certain way because you choose to have kids.

I love how Americans think the rest of the world is going to go by their laws. Yeah I know if that passes I'll be switching all my sites to .xxx :1orglaugh

Sad part is there are many within our own ranks who think a .xxx would be good. The thought of such an adult clasification sends shivers down my spine. I honestly think those among us either missed out on the .com rush and or have very good .xxx domains or are just complete misguided morons who really should be taken out behind the woodshed and be put down.
The very last thing we need is to be placed in some redlight ghetto that is easily cut off or bypassed by any ISP. If that happens you can bet your last dollar it would be used against us and we would be cut off from the vast majority of the US.
I do hate how people can parade out the kids and use them for whatever goals the fuckward parents like. Personally fuck the kids, if the parents are so god damn fucking concerned then they should demand a .kid or .myparentsdontwatchme address that would be restricted to safe monitored content.

its not our fault. like ive read up there, porn wasnt designed with kids in mind and we do our fuckin best to keep out.
