Phil Jackson, 95% certain next season
 

Notes: Jackson's girlfriend, Jeannie Buss (daughter of Lakers owner Jerry Buss) went on a local radio program Monday and said she was 95 percent certain Jackson would return to coach the team next season. "She freelanced on it," Jackson said.

as a laker fan i like phil, i think if they win it all most of the team will return

i doubt if Payton would come back even if they take this one. it would take some time to blend with the chemistry with the team and with the Triangle offense which has affected his career role as a scorer of a team.
