Question about CCBill

Does it matter what URL sends traffic to the site as long as you have your affiliate ID in the URL?

For example, I have sent some traffic to the CCBill link for TushyLickers, I know i've sent some traffic there, but CCbill is showing me 0 for clicks.

The site I registered with CCBill is a different URL than where the traffic is coming from but I didnt think that would matter because I have my affil id in the URL.

Am I completely fucking retarded?

that should not matter

no matter where you send the traffic from it should register

post the link you are using lets see

You've probably got some mistake in the link code, double/triple check it. You can paste the link code into your browser and hit enter, if the code is right the click will show up in your stats.

I send traffic to CCbill sites from a dozen different places and all clicks seem to register.

Anytime I've had a problem with the clicks not showing up it's been a typo in the link code.

Also, there can be some small delay in the stats but I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes for the clicks to show up.

And last, alot of the traffic I send is PPC so I can compare the clicks I pay for to the clicks CCBill registers. They are always within 2% of each other unless the PPC is scamming me.

badmrfrosty,

JaceXXX is correct as long as you are passing in your ID properly you should not have any problems. Also keep in mind the click stats are delayed for up to a half hour. I would suggest you check your linking code again, if you continue to have any problems feel free to contact us.

Its cool, I figured it out i didnt realize ccbill created a new ID for each site that you are an affilifate of.

I thought the whole point was so that everything could be combined.

Btw dont be so defensive EB, i really like that TL site.

thanks sorry i came off that way

you will still get 1 check its just different id's

PrivateIvy 06-09-2004 10:43 AM

as long as the program you are sending to has multiple redirects enabled in their ccbill admin, it doesn't matter what urls you send the traffic to

:2 cents:

I was confused about that too at the beginning, but yes every site you sign up for gives you a new affiliate ID. You can't use your main one that you log in with.

Glad to see you figured it out!
