Job description & Responsibilities:

Work under the close supervision of the VP Technology
Provide technical pre- support to customers and prospects for Zend products
Articulate technical features, functions, customer-related benefits of Zend
products
Take part in the up-sales/cross-sales process by recognizing customer needs
Take the lead in assisting customers with the problem isolation process,
escalation of support issues, and related follow-up
Responsible for in/out customer feedback to Product Management and Customer
support
Has accountability for technical sales satisfaction of Zend Inc. customers
Position may involve on-site customer visits

Hiring Profile:

At least one year of PHP experience (including understanding of database
access, templates, sessions, HTTP protocol)
Basic UNIX and Windows system administration skills including installation
and configuration of Apache & PHP
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills required
Demonstrable ability to grasp and explain complex technical information to
customers, prospects, partners
Demonstrable ability to communicate at the developer level in a meaningful
way
Excellent organizational skills
Travel: from time to time, including periodic training in Israel
