i fried a 1400 watt amp in my truck this morning so i wandered to my local best buy to see if they could fix and.. and staring at me was a sign saying they have ps2 in stock... the same thing people are buying off auctions for 800$.. for $299 .. so yep i picked up one for me and one for my little brother and i was wondering if any of you know what games are good? i bought nascar 2001 and nba.. nba rules, but the nascar game blooows.. what are some good games to pick up?!

I found that out on the news last tuesday.

There are better games for Playstation I right now...like Spider-Man. Don't limit yourself to PSX2 games when the machine can also play some great PSX1 games. Nothing that great has come out for PSX2 unless you like sport games (I don't).

Hey man, that's great that you got your hands on a PS2, I was stupid enough to pay $575 for the system with Madden 2001 a few weeks after it came out. I wasn't gonna get it right away, so I didn't pre-order it, but once it came out, I hate to have it right away, he he.

If you want a great sports game, get Madden 2001, that's an AWESOME football game. Fifa 2001, it's a beautiful game graphically and I'm not much for watching soccer, but playing it is really fun. SSX Snowboarding is also great. Grand Turismo 3 just came out. That's supposed to be the racing game to buy. Then there's Knockout Kings 2001, I LOVE boxing games and that's next on my list, he he. Daily Radar gives it a great rating, so it's gotta be good, he he.

Yeah Babagirls, there's gonna be no more Dreamcast, that's a shame because I always liked Sega better than the rest. I hear that Sega is gonna be around for a while because they're gonna transform over and start making games for the PS2 and the new upcoming Nintendo handheld. They're also working on a new card that you pop into your computer, so you can play Dreamcast games on your PC, then they're also gonna be incorporating their technology into a tv top box, so that's good to know.
