One Size Fits All - AVS
 

Does anybody have any suggestions or an example of a 'one size fits all/most' avs site.

I'm expanding my daily submissions from tgp and free sites to include AVS but looking through a few of the programs they all seem to have wildly different rules.

Can some one suggest:

a: A good handful of AVS sites and
b: An example of a gallery that will fit them

I've looked at about 20 of them but the rules are all over the place.

What I want to try and avoid is having to design like 10 different galleries for each AVS's rules (x 30!!!!)

30 pics is probably what you should shoot for... or 20-30

2 gals 15 pics each

2 versions.... one with pops one without

1 big text link at the top and one at the bottom of each gallery

Make the text link fit the niche...... and make it a micro niche

Dont bother with Htacess, in fact make sure you get them spidered (this is debatable, but I get a lot of SE traffic to gals)

Should be ok for 90% of AVSs

Edit: Of course if you are going for "premium" upsells then it is a different game entirely

I don't think many AVS's are going to allow consoles in the members area

We have a 20 pic minimum, no consoles in members area

Pop ups will never get you listed. AVSs receive tons of new sites a day, so you need to build quality if you want to be on the link list & try to get traffic from the AVS itself. I wouldn't submit anything less than 50 pics.

Once you've been submitting for a while, build a hub for each AVS you're working with & list all of your sites there. Include a link to your hub on every new site you submit.

Traffic off the new sites list isn't what it used to be, so you'll need to drive traffic to your sites in other ways too.
