Are you seeing this with your TGP submissions?

I'm running across a lot of these galleries with my tgp submissions.

http://www.dancerfucked.com/m77/indexcae.html

From my point of view their objective is to drive traffic to their TGP's but i'm wondering what the sponsors think of their free content being used to build TGP's when they don't even have an advertisement other than their URL on the picture. I think about 20-30% of my daily submissions are this way.

NBDesign 06-08-2004 08:50 PM

Yeah... I get a lot of them.... wondered how they were making sales as well....

Saint Nick 06-08-2004 09:28 PM

One word...

Blacklist

undermyspell 06-08-2004 09:39 PM

well i'm not sure why I should blacklist them. They are clean galleries with no redirections, no banned html or anything. Plus, the surfer doesn't have to deal with annoying ads. They truly get the free porn they are after. I've visited the majority of the TGP's that have the recips on the pages and they're clean too with no BS that I can find. If I have any sponsors contact me and tell me that they don't approve of this then I will definitely delete the galleries and stop taking them but otherwise i'm not seeing that they are doing any harm. Or am I missing something?

Spunky 06-08-2004 09:41 PM

Those fucking cocksuckers...I must have banned 200 of his fucking domains...from russian submitter

I just got 5 pop ups and ask to change my homepage...thats enough to piss off any surfer and sure as hell won't stick around to see the rest of your site

Bell 06-08-2004 09:44 PM

I"ve seen very similar ones that on day 181+ all of a sudden CHANGE and reroute to console hell and dialer promos...

if you do approve them you might want to make note to check back to see if it STAYS a gallery (as approved) every 60 days
or so as a "test"

that is how I feel too... Clean, simple and the surfer is getting what they came for... and my recip is still getting out there.

If asked to remove them from the content owners.. then I will... but if you purchase content from someone... wouln't that be considered "advertising use" ?

undermyspell 06-08-2004 09:47 PM

thanks spunky.. sometimes I forget about my triple popup blocker protection

Bell... Thank you for that information i'll keep my eyes out for that situation

Yes, I was going to suggest running your spyware programs as well...these galleries are pure crap and I wouldn't put that shit on my enemies site

foolio 06-08-2004 09:49 PM

That link tried to fuck me in the ass.. it is no longer "clean"

CDSmith 06-08-2004 09:50 PM

Some of these guys add code into their page later that redirects every 5th surfer to popup hell, and because it's every 5th surfer it's hard to catch.

Keep a close eye on these types of pages if you're approving them. To me it's not worth the risk or the headache, especially if you've built a list of trusted submitters whose galleries are good and never cheat.

undermyspell 06-08-2004 09:51 PM

hmmm... I looked over the source code on that gallery and could find no code that would produce a pop up. Is it possible you have some kind of spyware or adware on your computer spunky? My popup blockers aren't detecting anything either

Well..I had to close submissions on a few sites due to this russian prick. He submits clean galleries then sends them to pop up hell after approved. He must have 200 or so domains. No spyware here,I run a few differant programs daily to remove it all.I just don't trust people that change it up and ask to change homepages and sends me to dialer uncloseables...usally my IE would crash due too that shit. There are thousands of good submitters, don't put your bookmarkers/surfers through this or you'll lose them for sure.

CDSmith 06-08-2004 10:02 PM

Trust shemp. That is all.

Baal 06-08-2004 10:04 PM

1 spyware, 1 virus, it tried to access my registry, tried to re-set my home page, and 1 pop-up. Lit up my layers of protection like a christmas tree.

Might want to warn ppl next time.

undermyspell 06-08-2004 10:06 PM

Thanks guys... I honestly wasn't getting anything from them at all from my detectors and I was clicking on them multiple times to be sure because it looked odd to me. I even checked out the source code.

Shemp I love ya you know you're my bud and I can't wait to see you again soon.

I've gone through and deleted everything I had from him and started adding everything he's sent to my blacklist. I should be able to catch all of his submissions from now on because he has a very telltale name/names he uses when submitting

umm.. if I had any idea that it was doing that shit then I would have not posted the link but described it instead.

undermyspell 06-08-2004 10:12 PM

awww... you're breaking my heart making me wait so long. You going to the Qwebec Expo or the NYC Expo? I'm hoping to make it to one of those.

NBDesign 06-08-2004 10:13 PM

Ohhhhh.... shit... pop-ups and spyware in these galleries? FUCK!!!!! Ok... guess I have to do some house cleaning and remove some galleries.

The bad thing about them pop up blockers... I never see them... although my cursor will change when a new browser tries to open... never saw it with these galleries... but better be safe than sorry.

Thanks for the heads up all :thumbsup

That link was a popup hell man.

undermyspell 06-08-2004 10:18 PM

it was completely undetected by me too NB. I even viewed the source code and it had nothing out of the ordinary in it. I'd be interested to know how they did it so I could put that in my banned html

yup those assholes are blacklisted forever

Diligent 06-08-2004 10:35 PM

Thank God I'm using Mozilla... :winkwink:

Hmm.. I think cheaters like that one are using server-side techniques (PHP etc.)
to eventually fuck surfers & TGP's around... So when a TGP does a review
the cheats might not show up at all. :(

My firewall set off an alarm immediately when I got to that gallery... :

Unauthorized Access Attempt (HTTP_Content_Type_HTA)
Intruder: advanced-dns1.com
IP: 209.66.114.129
Destination Port: TCP 4999

Vulnerability Description:
Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5.01, 5.5, and 6.0 could allow a remote attacker to execute code on the system, caused by improper handling of Object Data tags. A remote attacker could create a specially-crafted URL link using the Object Data tags, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the link is clicked. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a malicious Web page and hosting it on a Web site or by sending it to a victim as an HTML email.

So... if I had been using IE (poorly patched) and an insufficient firewall...
I'd be fucked right now.

undermyspell 06-08-2004 10:40 PM

thanks for the info Mack.. funny thing is i'm using IE and my firewall is set at filter so it would show me what's happening. It still never found anything and i've run the spyware program and it didn't find anything either. Could they have it set to not install anything on my ip (i'm reaching since I am not a programmer)

tranza 06-08-2004 10:42 PM

I get redirected... :(

NP :)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking actually... they may have set the whole thing
up so it doesn't mess around with ANY known TGP, that would be fully possible for the tech-savvy and these assholes
unfortunately are just that.. :(

You should start using proxies from various parts of the world when reviewing
if you want to be more rigorous.. :thumbsup

The cheaters' "bypass-cheat-for-TGP's" would probably be detected easier then.

Oh and if someone from serious-coin is watching this thread they are using your free content to do this and I hope they aren't installing crap to make money with you guys.

Yeah, those galleries are great because we're all in this business to give away completely free hardcore porn.

Heaven forefend some honest webmaster should make a sale or something...
