ARS Sigs and GFY Policy change
 

Because of the efforts of posters on the GFY board to defraud our webmaster referral program, combined with the poor attitudes towards webmasters using the program in the signatures, we have decided to change a couple of policies in regards to the webmaster referral program. Those changes are:

1. Effictive Immeaditly: ARS buttons will no longer be allowed in GFY post signatures. Seccondly, your participation in the ARS Webmaster Referral program will be terminated if you are using an ARS button in your signature past 6/11/04.

2. Webmasters who are not promoting ARS in any other manner except for the Webmaster Referral program will not be allowed to participate past 6/11/04. You must actively promote another ARS program in order to continue using the Webmaster Referral program.

These changes are necessary to help us better police the program and to get the intended return out of the program.

It was never created with the sig whore in mind. It was created as a means of generating additional revenue with ARS by promoting the program itself to other webmasters.

Please take the time today to insure you are in compliance with these new policies.

although it is apparent you are going to need to do more if you want to maintain your current position in the markt you are in dire need of more webmasers to your program since you fucked a lot of us over with the changes a few months ago

When you need to end a relationship with a company (our content partner) there is no easy way. What had to be done was done, I surly hope you dont think I was happy to see 100+ sites leave our portfolio either.

What's wrong with using that word? Everyone refers to the people with ARS buttons in their sigs as a sigwhore. That's what you know and love :)

It sure didnt perform like we planned it to. But we moved past that. All I can ask is to give us your trust again and try out one of our $75 fridays with our new products CHAMPS. Some of our programs did not change, ADS (dialer) HSN (cam site) and other non adult products.

Taking off the ARS buttons in signatures would not accomplish that feat :1orglaugh

They're all out shopping for oversized trash bags. You can fit twice as many aluminum cans in those extra big ones.

Only GFY for now where it was a huge problem. If it becomes a problem on other boards, we will reassess our stance with each board.

you thought i used the ars button to make money with? you missed everything i said about it then. that fucking thing isn't making me any money, it's there for the haters. hell my fucking ars account is on hold, and was even before i put the button up.

I have 5 huge pecan trees in my front yard, probably 100 years old and several hundred feet high. My parents and grandparents both have them on their property, too. Every fall when they start to fall, my grandmother spends 2 or 3 months picking them all up. She sits around and cracks and shells them while she's watching TV, and puts them in ziplock bags, a pound each.

We always laugh at her because she really doesn't need the money so it seems weird to spend that much time doing it, but she makes *thousands*. She sells them for $5-6 dollars a pound and people start calling at the end of summer to remind her to be sure and put back x amount for them. If you saw how people acted about them, you'd think she was selling gold nuggets. :1orglaugh
