Need Opinions ON Model Pic (pic, of course)!

lighting.....shadows...positioning...everything...

i dont quite like the pic
the girls looks kindaof ugly
but shadows are good, but maybe needs a bit more light over the body.
And there's something wrong with her right foot too, the fingers look like their bleeding....

Lighting - Not too bad... but not great.. I think it may be a bit too harsh.. I would have done that on a overcast day.. or wait till 10 mins before sunset.

Shadows - They dont really do anything for me... but then again.. they should not have any effect as she is laying down.

Positioning - Although I don't really see many other positions that would work better, I don't like this one.. It makes her look very uncomfortable.. and it makes her breast look bad.. like two balls.

Overall - Nice idea, need to play around some more with it..

My first thought was "She feels uncomfortable", noone would lay down on those stairs, I personally prefer pictures that looks more natural.

The angle is a little strange, too, I'd take a photo like this from above the stairs if possible, or a little higher postition at least.

I'm no professional photographer, just two things that came to my mind instantly.

Her pose is good but her hands should be facing down, not up....her left knee should be stretched out more , not straight up and down ....and her right foot looks like it is rotting off and in need of amputation):

That's the only thing good about it IMO

Lighting is horrible, color saturation awful....a bad attempt at a really great shot.

Translation: I don't really need an opinion at all. Even claiming I do is really kind of stupid, once you think about it. What I really need is for everyone to click on this thread and see my ARS sig so I can make .75 more cents and support my broke ass. I like it. I think that her faced is somewhat squashed which isn't ideal but what intrigues me most is the foot which looks faded to me.

The shadow is horrible. The back of her body has no definition whatsoever.

It's ok not terible but I'm not crazy about it

I bet that Murray, the photographer/owner of Montgomery Studios will not be happy about the hotlinking though:(

the way the picture is taken, your eye goes from her hands down to her feet and falls off the page, no main point of view, nothing to keep the eye on the image...try shifting the camera and giving it a better angle to keep viewer on her...

FWIW, you can all quit giving him opinions. He doesn't care now, nor did he when he posted this. He probably hasn't looked at this thread since he wrote it. He did it about 5 mins before the big ARS-no-more-sigs announcement. :1orglaugh

The chick is 42, btw. She's got a great body, though.

What a great body, but damn can't you make those implants at least seem some what natural.

You need to zoom in more, much more. And if she puts her arms down, at least that would help her boobs not look as fake. Or if she covered the bottom part of her breast with one of her arms.
Then a little bit of brushing and there you go.

basic thing bout photos: they should tell you something. this one doesnt. change the angle, the lighting is too harsh. the location is ok, because the contrast between her skin and the white stairs is amazing. but the two should be blended together. try shooting in a diffrent position. this pic would also look great in gray scale or black and white. ;-)

Not bad at all!

well, the pic is OK.

but if you are shooting a model against a white background you should spot meter the skin rather than let the camera auto expose.

otherwise the skin will be underexposed like this.

step 1: learn how the camera works.

step 2: then hire the model.

less time and money wasted.
