Ability to delete threads off your screen so they don't show up for you at all.

Seriously if there is a thread that I know for sure that I'm not gonna read (and this goes for many threads), I wanna click and remove it and don't wanna ever see it again.

That'd be a cool thing to have indeed.. but it would take some serious programming... and they can't even get the search to work here.

This place could be even better then it is with a little programming know how.. could make a real adult webmasters portal. Interface to check stats on programs, maybe some webmail.. customized startpages.

I'd like a feature where if I ignore someone they are gone forever.. I dont see a little thing "covering" up their posts or anything.. they are just kaput.

I just wish the ignore feature extended to threads started by the people you ignored.

you are right, it would take more programming than i think they are willing to do to have that feature.

thing is, sometimes a lame thread turns into a great one...would hate to miss those cause i deleted it

I think GFY is just fine the way it is. Don't grow it in to a portal!

adding anything else will kill this site...it can't even handle to having the search going.

or maybe, they could just go moderate each forum so theres a fora for spamming, for trading and web-inquiries. and those that doesn't fall in that category automatically gets a boot.:winkwink:

GFY Simply needs and ontopic and an offtopic version of the board. Then we can read the biz threads that matter, and skip the shit.

I dont want to add more to this stuff, just to have the search tool fixed would be enough..

they need to fix the damn search, it isnt that hard
