Am I the only one who finds the N word offensive anymore?

You guys who think you are cool throw it around like a fucking frisbee. Do you stop to consider just how many people here (and potential clients) that you risk offending? I know that it's 'cool' to be anti-pc, but guys, think about it. Thousands of people are watching your behaviour. Since the net offers limited avenues on which to form an opinion about a person, how you carry yourself should be of paramount importance.

It is good that this word looses its power. No one should be that offended by a word.

What did you expect? A good number of us don't have any clients so people's opinions don't really mean shit to us.

I find it offensive as well, and I must say that the level of stupidity/immaturity on this board has far exceeded my level of tolerance as I find myself stopping by here less and less. It's too bad.

I have no issue with friends calling each other "nigga", and don't ask me why, but that doesn't bother me......... but THAT word makes me crazy. I guess I just can't see my way around the hatred it implies....... and that's how this one is usually used, as a form of hatred, and it is just plain sad to me to see it thrown around like it is nothing.

I hope more of the people that throw racist remarks around like they are no big deal read this thread. I got into an argument a few weeks back with someone who owns a webmaster program in his name and he refused to see beyond his own simpleton viewpoint that if it didn't seem offensive in his view, than it was fine to spout it out and anyone saying different was just being PC and encroaching on his freedom of speech.

I'd say we quit that topic once and for ever!
