there is no 'dropping' at all.

what does happen is that premium numbers will be locked by default and the customer has to have them activated for their own number to be able to call them. a simple phone call to the telephone provider will do.

which is in fact a cool thing, none of those can complain about not knowing they were using a dialer.

and baring in mind that premium numbers include services like weather, tele shopping and the likes, quite some folks will be willing to activate anyway.

means alot less money in the short term, but long term it will be like 900#'s
