Notepad RULES!... except of 2 missing properties :-(
 

I've always used Notepad for my webdevelopment and I've always been very satisfied with it.
When I installed Win2000ProfEd I was very delighted that Microsoft thought of the short-cuts this time :-)

But lately I'm more and more irritated by 2 missing properties, namely:

- no rule numbers (so a JavaScript error gives trouble :-))

- no ability to set tab width (the standard width of 8 is really to large I think)

Any guys (/girls) agree?

First off notepad only rulez in windows 2000 where the fuckin' idiots finally implemented the CTRL+S to save the shit and CTRL+F to find stuff

2nd: a tabstop of 8 isn't that big when you've been programming for 18hours straight http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif A resolution of 320x200 is even too much then http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/wink.gif
