How is Prohosters?
 

Maybe nobody heard me last night but I'm currently leaning heavily on getting Prohosters as my paid host...Anyone heard how they are? They seem reasonably priced...I'm gonna use it mainly to host my dialer and maybe a gallery or two of pics not more than 30 pics...

Before I sign up I would like to hear if they are reliable or what?.....

Wow. I just checked them out. They seem to offer a lot, for little in return.

That isn't always a good sign, after all you get what you pay for!

well my buddy used them for a couple months and said they sucked, slow responses to his questions and customer care was shit for him

Everyone was in a bashing mood after the cat incident, but if you look at how they handled issues like Ogrish I think you could say they are at least going to stand up for their customers.

I think they care about lining their wallet, like every smart business person should, but they could have received a lot of publicity by pulling the plug on ogrish too. Granted, maybe not as much as by keeping them up.

i have a small v.account there for backup email and to host few gambling sites. Not the fastest servers, neither the insane uptime, but they are ok. They reply to tickets very fast and always have someone to assist you in their chatroom. For $15/month I don't expect anything more. I wouldn't host anything more important there though.

24hour tech support on icq, irc, email.

very little downtime

They have bent over backwards for me everytime i needed it.

they are the best there is.

Ok I'll bite, if I can't beat any of ISPRIME's posted ADVERTISED rates as of 06/09/2003 1:17 PM EST, I'll give a free 9 months of hosting as well to any new customer.
