Help with backing up IE
 

Hey all you techno-wieners, got something for you to do. I bought a new hard drive today and I will be replacing my old one. Most everything is already backed up but I would like to back the passwords. Is there a single file that contains the passwords and auto complete information? It would save so much time so I don't have to re-enter all my passwords to sponsor stats and such. If there is a way to do this and you know, please inform me! Thanks much (-:

That's a good question. That autocomplete and password storage is handy but it's like autodial on a phone, you forget everybodies numbers.

Yep, that's why everytime I use it I make a mental note to myself what the ID and password is.

Wish I knew the answer to that one though. I think you're going to have to find some registry d00d for that one.
